OBITUARY
Mrs. Peter D. Sutton Dead

Mrs. Mary M. Sutton, wife of Peter D. Sutton, died at the Sutton home near Smiths Valley, Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 o-clock, following an illness of eight weeks during which she had suffered an attack of paralysis. Mrs. Sutton was one of the best known women of White River Township. Shortly after her marriage to Mr. Sutton more than 40 years ago, they moved to their farm near Smiths Valley and had lived there ever since. She was one of the active members of the Mt. Pleasant church and was a sweet-spirited, thoroughly Christian woman.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Walter and Omer of White River township, and five daughters, Mrs. Frank Cline of Bargersville, Mrs. Chameron Hughes of White River township, and the Misses Cora, Myra and Ada, who live at home. She also leaves a brother, John Dunn, of Bargersville, and two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Greenwood of Morgan county, and Mrs. Sarah Tresslar of Bargersville.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o’clock at the Mt. Pleasant church, conducted by the Rev. J. W. Dailey. Burial in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.

Friends are invited to the services.
