Survived by his wife, Janet Carpio; children, Gene (Norma) Carpio, Pueblo, Robert (Cherie) Carpio, Texas Creek, Colo., John (Becky) Carpio, Pueblo, and Rose Marie Curtis of Los Lunas, N.M. Also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Aaron (Marie) Carpio and Charles Carpio; and sisters, Helen Huerta, Mary Abeyta and Irene (Pete) Abeyta, all of Pueblo.
