Francis E. "Frank" Carpio, age 83, passed away March 8, 2000. Survived by his wife, Janet Carpio; children, Gene (Norma) Carpio, Pueblo, Robert (Cherie) Carpio, Texas Creek, Colo., John (Becky) Carpio, Pueblo, and Rose Marie Curtis of Los Lunas, N.M. Also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Aaron (Marie) Carpio and Charles Carpio; and sisters, Helen Huerta, Mary Abeyta and Irene (Pete) Abeyta, all of Pueblo. Mr. Carpio was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the D.A.V. and St. Pius X Church, where services will be held. Cremation, Almont Crematory. Memorial Mass, Friday, 10 a.m., with military honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Inurnment, Monday, 9 a.m., Union Highland Cemetery in Florence, Colo. The family respectfully requests the omission of flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home office.
