Mrs. Cecil Hurd, 77, resident of the Good Samaritan Home, Pine River, formerly of Hackensack, died Monday in Pine River. She was born on May 11, 1907, in Long Prairie. Mrs. Hurd is survived by one daughter, Betty Hurd, Ah-Gwah-Ching; and one son, Jimmy, Calif. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Northland Funeral Home, Pine River with the Rev. Michael Small officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hackensack. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday.
