CLYDE - Mary Virginia Honeycutt Chilcote, 86, died Thursday, at her home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Clyde cemetery with the Rev. Ava Berry officiating, directed by Bailey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chilcote was born Dec. 23, 1915 in Kaufman County, to E.L. and Lela Roberts Haney. She was the widow of Fred Honeycutt whom she married Dec. 24, 1938 in Kanapolis, NC and Robert Chilcote whom she married Nov. 25, 1995 in Breckenridge. She retired from Sears Roebuck C. in 1978 after 20 years as a collector. She was a member of the First United Methodist church of Clyde.She moved to Abilene in 1945 and to Clyde in 1975.
