Brenda was born in Oil City PA, Graduated from Briarcliff High School in 1968 in Decatur GA. Attended Marietta Tech and Kennesaw State University receiving a degree in accounting. She married her husband of 41 years Carlton Noell Yancey on September 19, 1970 in Decatur GA and had one son Michael Lawrence Yancey. Brenda also has 3 grandchildren and belonged to the American Legion Post # 201 Lady's auxiliary. Brenda and her husband Carlton lived in Acworth GA.
