Born in Aiken County, he was a son of the late Henry M. and Ethel Boonett Hudson. He was a retired carpenter and member and deacon of Edisto Baptist Church in Williston.
Surviving are sons, E. O'Neal, Lewis H. and Gerald G. Hudson of Aiken; daughters, Mrs. Pope (Virginia) Turner, Mrs. Tommy (Patsy) Carlin and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Snipes of Aiken and Mrs. Martin (Frankie) Munn of Columbia; a brother. John G. "Boot" Hudson of Springfield; sisters, Mrs. Leola H. Goss of Wagener and Mrs. Annie Mae H. Caruso of Detroit. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Edisto Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at George Funeral Home and at the home of Mrs Virginia Turner.
