Funeral services will be held at the Beverly M.E. Church on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be made in Watertown cemetery. C.H. Mindling of Beverly is the funeral director.
Rev. Mr. Allbery was born near Crooked Tree in Noble County on June 19, 1867, and was a son of the late Anthony Pitts Allbery and Lucinda Wantling Allbery. He was married on April 15, 1890 to Grace Olive Hartman. He taught school in Watertown and Waterford townships when a young man, and then studied for the ministry. He was connected with Marietta Y.M.C.A. for a time and had clerical duties there after he retired from the ministry on account of failing health.
Rev. Mr. Allbery was a member of the Beverly M.E. Church and was the teacher of the Wagner Brotherhood Bible Class at the time of his death. Surviving are his widow and his sons and daughters, Ivan Allbery of Kansas; Albert Allbery and Mrs. Cleo Weissenburger of Beverly; Mrs. Frances Becker of Marietta, and Mrs. Vesta Lambert of Mt. Vernon. There are 15 grandchildren. Brothers of the deceased are James Allbery of Beverly, and Denna Allbery of Zanesville.
