Mrs. Betsey E. Shiverick died suddenly Sunday morning, Jan. 22d, of heart disease at her home on Oak street, Middleboro. Mrs. Shiverick rose that morning and told her daughter-in-law, Mrs. S. N. Shiverick, that she was feeling much better than usual. A little later, however, she complained of having an-unusually sinking feeling. The younger woman stepped out to call assistance and when she returned the venerable lady had passed away. Mrs. Shiverick was a native of Falmouth, a daughter of Timothy Nye, and widow of William Shiverick who formerly carried on the harness business in this village, and subsequently removed to Middleboro. The deceased leaves three sons, Samuel N., superintendent of streets in Middleboro; William, who is engaged in business in the far west, and Charles, who is an Indianapolis business man.
