Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery will follow services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Hattie Octavia McClain, who died of cancer Saturday in a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. McClain, 68, 422 N. Lime, was born Sept. 3, 1896, at Glasco in Cloud County. She was the daughter of William and Sara Wilshire.
A member of the Methodist Church, she lived in Topeka several years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Violet J. Ayres, 510 Kouns, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Another daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn McLain, preceded her in death.
