Verline Alberta Creekmore, of the 500 block of S. Birdneck Road, died April 14, 1990, in a hospital.
Mrs. Creekmore, a native of Elizabeth City, was the widow of Augustus Creekmore. She was a member of Little Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Willie Mae Williams, and a son, William O. Creekmore, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Vera Williams of Winston-Salem, N.C.; four brothers, Wayman Williams and Audolphus Williams, both of Elizabeth City, Welton Williams of Elizabeth, N.J., and Wanza Williams of Long Island, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and six great-granchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Little Piney Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. M.E. Thompkins. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
