OBITUARY :
MARCELLA ROSE ARD, 92, formerly of 1643 Woodlands Run, Hagerstown died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport.

Born March 22, 1915 in Uniontown, PA she was the daughter of the late Franklin D. and Rose Ann Corigan Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred A. Kail in 1970 and her second husband, Rev. Dr. Wilson P. Ard in 1986.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Senior Citizens of the church.

She is survived by a daughter, Eileen Harbaugh of Hagerstown; and a son, Fred Kail of Baltimore; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Phillip Fogarty will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
