Married May 1, 1844 Sarah Plimpton Underwood, daughter of Josiah and Betsey (Sawyer) Underwood at Westminster, Mass. She was born March 28, 1827 at Hubbardston, Mass.; died April 25, 1916 at Brookline, NH.

Sarah Elizabeth, b. Feb 12, 1845; m, July 4, 1864 Andrew H. Woodcock. (Sarah died less than two years after her marriage to Andrew on February 6, 1866. She died of consumption (tuberculosis) in Leicester, Mass. only a week before her 22nd birthday. Andrew H. Woodcock died Sep 29, 1867 of consumption. He was a chair maker.)
