Waldo Belote, 55, 512 West Jackson Street, Tekonsha died unexpectedly at 7:15 a.m. at the Tekonsha Engraving Concern.

Born April 18,1909 in Sherwood the son of Carlton and Mabel (Marber) Belote, he was married on August 25, 1934 in Angola, IN to Marion J. Baker.

He was a life resident of this area.

He was employed by the Tekonsha Co-op for 31 years and for the past four months was employed by the Tekonsha Engraving Concern. He also served on the Tekonsha Village council for many years.

Survivors include his wife Marion, his mother, a daughter Mary (Jerry) Thornton, a son Robert W. Belote, Battle Creek. Four grandsons, a brother, Clifford, a sister Mildred (Lavern) Kraushenr, a brother Lloyd preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. at the Tekonsha Chapel Putnam Funeral Home with the Reverend Clarance Graham, Union Church in Tekonsha officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery.
