Mother Of Mrs. O.R. Mason Passes Away
Mrs. Irene Griffith, 93, died Tuesday afternoon, August 12, 1947 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blanche McCoy, at Walton, Indiana. Two other daughters survive her; Mrs. Bruce Householder of Galveston, and Mrs. O.R. Mason, of Remington. In addition, she leaves 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She spent several winters in her daughter's home here and made a number of aquaintances in Remington.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Bethel Friends Church in her old home commmunity in Ervin Twp. of Howard County.
