Irene was born Sept. 7, 1896 in Richford, Vermont and was baptized Marie Irene at the All Saints Church in Richford on Feb. 14, 1897. Her parents were Joseph Deslauriers and Delia (Delisle) Deslauriers.

She married 2nd George Eved Plant b 10/19/1875 and died 5/20/1949. They married Sept. 10th, 1944 in Northwood Ridge, NH.
Aunt Irene traveled to Winooski many summers to visit with her older sister Rose Viens. She loved to play cards and had a great smile and wonderful laugh.
