Born July 1, 1925, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice (Turner) Malehorn.
Dorothea was a homemaker who had also worked at the BonTon and the York County Courthouse snack bar. She was a former Girl Scout leader and had been a member of Mildred American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Dorothea is survived by three children, Peggy L. Williams of Wellsville, Bonnie L. Duncan of Red Lion, and Michael L. Kann of York; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Richards.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dorothea's viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012, at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover, followed by a graveside service in Dover Union Cemetery.
