Helen Frances Howe, daughter of Harry Howe and Adeline Moore, grew up in Winsted, Litchfield Co., Connecticut. She married Charles Eugene Selover, Jr. on 6 February 1913 in Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York. Helen and Charles lived in Brooklyn for a number of years before returning to Winsted, Litchfield Co., Connecticut during the 1920s. With the exception of a few years around 1930 when they were in the New York City area, Helen and Charles lived in Winsted until Charles' death in 1954. Helen subsequently removed to La Habra, Los Angeles Co., California to be near her daughter, Margaret Post Selover Barth. Her other children were Charles Eugene Selover III and John North Selover. The location of Charles' burial is uncertain. It seems likely that he is either interred at Winsted, Litchfield Co., Connecticut or in this cemetery with his parents, but no record or obituary has been found.
