Ross Defenbaugh, 83, died on March 11, 1967 at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator where he had been a patient the past three months.

Visitation will be held Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Winterrowd funeral home with burial in Moon cemetery.

Mr. Defenbaugh was born at Coalville on April 27, 1882. He was the son of Joseph and Ellen Josephine (Bell) Defenbaugh.

He was married to Susan Burton on March 6, 1912 in Streator. She died in January.

Survivors include two brothers: Bert of Milwaukee, WI and Noah of Ancona; and two sisters: Ruth (Walter) Gregory of Rockford and Mrs. Lucy Haley of Streator.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife; a brother; and a sister.

Mr. Defenbaugh was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a retired drayman.
