Annie M. Roehlk, 96, passed away Saturday, April 6, 1974, at Wilton Nursing Home in Wilton.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant, with Rev. L. Jack Ehlers officiating.

Annie Margaret Mecklenburg was born November 27, 1877, in Scott County, the daughter of Johannes and Agnes (Babbe) Mecklenburg. She received her education in the Scott County schools. She married George Roehlk on February 13, 1902, in Davenport. Together they farmed near Bennett, until they retired in 1952, and moved to Durant. George preceded her in death on March 6, 1961.

Surviving are one son, Edward (Kathryn) Roehlk of New Liberty; two daughters-in-law, Alta Roehlk and Lola Roehlk, both of Durant; 11 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sons, Harvey, Harold and Waldo Roehlk, one sister, Mabel (George) Hass and three brothers, John, Henry and Nicolous Mecklenburg.
