George Schultz died last evening at 7 o’clock at the family residence one and a half miles north of Concord from a complication of diseases. Mr. Schultz was born in Prussia, February 25, 1834, and came to this country with his wife on June 16, 1857. They resided here fourteen years and then Mr. Schultz engaged in farming in Wea township. He was a member of the German Lutheran church and a man of splendid character. His wife died in July, 1892. The following children survive: John M. Schultz, of Berthold [Berthoud], Col.; Fred, Paul and Charles H. Schultz, of Spokane, Washington; Mrs. Sallie Hudlow and Mrs. Anna J. Ilgenfritz, of Ordway, Col., and Miss Minnie Schultz, who resided with her father.
