Son of Frank and Eileen Kearns. He graduated from Akron's Central High School in 1961. Throughout his life he worked in various theme parks in California and New York, and owned restaurants and mobile snack services in Detroit, where he lived for many years. He was loved by his family and will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by mother and father; cousin, Margaret O'Neil of San Diego; and various aunts and uncles of the Kearns and Brady families.
He is survived by son, Brady of Erie, Pa.; daughter, Kim Wanski of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Carol (Bill) Hurrelmeyer of St. Louis, Mo.; brothers, Dennis and Thomas (Toni) both of Akron; and nieces and nephews.
