Mrs. Ferguson, Dalton Life Resident, Dies
Mrs. John Ferguson, lifelong resident of Dalton Township and a mainstay for many years in the program of the Dalton Baptist Church, died at her home Friday after a short illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Ferguson, who made her home at 915 E. Bard road, was born in Dalton Township May 18, 1885, and attended school in that community. The former Emma Bard, she married John W. Ferguson in Muskegon Feb. 5, 1921.
A lifelong member of the Dalton Baptist Church and of its Sunday School, Mrs. Ferguson has been active in the women's program and organizations of the church.
She leaves her husband; three sons, Ralph Munson of Cheboygan, Robert Ferguson of Detroit and Rolland Ferguon of Dalton Township; two sisters, Miss Ebba Bard of Muskegon and Mrs. Elna Kirkham of Seattle, Wash.; four brothers, Elmer and David Bard of Muskegon, Oscar of Detroit and Paul L. Bard of Osage City, Kan., and seven grandchildren.
