She was born May 31, 1932, in Clintwood, Va., and was a daughter of the late Russell and Hessie Mullins Haynes.
She worked at Rockingham Poultry before retiring. She was a member of Timberville Church of the Nazarene.
On Feb. 3, 1953, she married Franklin Willis, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Frances LeRose of Fredericksburg, Va., Lynetta Stilwell of Vinton, Va., and Pamela Secrist of Fort Campbell, Ky.; four sons, Richard Willis of Gasburg, Va., Jeffrey Willis of Fredericksburg, Va., Michael Willis of Valentine, Va., and Chad Willis of Scottsville, Va.; one brother, Tollie Haynes of Lynchburg; three sisters, Winnie Phipps and Minnie Mullins, both of Clintwood, Va., and Agusta Flemming of Kingsport, Tenn.; 28 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers; Alonzo Haynes and Marlin Haynes and his wife Bessie May Carico Haynes,
Pastors Ron Graham, Cecil Flemming and Todd Thomas will conduct a funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway. Burial will be in the Timberville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grandle Funeral Home.
