Died 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 80 and a resident of Melville. Visiting at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home, Melville, 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, and 7 to 12:45 p.m. Saturday. Religious services at Melville Methodist Church, Melville, at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial in the Methodist Cemetery, Melville.

Survived by a son, Serrhel "Sonny" Adams Sr., Baton Rouge; two daughters, Linda Cashio, Riverridge, and Regina Dean, Baton Rouge; a brother,James Duncan, Palmetto; an aunt, Evie Delhomme, Melville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
