Burial to follow at Sycamore Cemetery in Burkeville, Texas.
Visitation will be 5–8pm, Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the Burkeville Stringer & Griffin Chapel.
Janice passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Leesville, Louisiana.
A native and lifelong resident of Burkeville, Texas she was a member of the Burkeville United Pentecostal Church. Janice enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, John Jordan and wife Wanda of Weirgate, Texas, James Jordan of Burkeville, Texas and Chyann Jordan and wife Paula of Burkeville, Texas, her daughter, Jennifer Fore and husband Sonny of London, Kentucky, her brothers, W.T. Brittian and wife Barbara of Burkeville, Texas and W.H. Brittian and wife Mary of Anacoco, Louisiana, her sisters, Jewel Savoy of Leesville, Louisiana and Caroline Swain and husband Gene of Burkeville, Texas, seven grandchildren, Jeremy Jordan, James Jordan, Schandellyn Frazier, Cherish Rimmer, Chelsea Rhoades, Jamie Rhoades and Jessica Rhoades and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.T. and Martha Brittian, her sister, Thelma Kay of Anacoco, Louisiana, two husbands, JW "Red" Jordan and Eli Burr, her son, JW "Red" Jordan, Jr. and grandson, Jonathon Jordan.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper, Texas ~
