It was here at the A.R.P. church that Jane met her future husband, James McQuerns, son of Samuel and Elizabeth McQuerns; originally from Ireland. On May 19th 1815, Jane and James were married; moving shortly after to Cedar Springs in Abbeville, County. Over the next few years, they had three children.
Sadly, Jane and James both died on Wednesday, August 29th 1821; leaving three minor children to be raised by their grandparents. Jane & James McQuerns are buried in the churhyard cemetery at Cedar Springs, South Carolina.
