Last rites for Andrew Jackson Berry, age 92, who passed away at Natchitoches Tuesday, Jan. 28, were conducted at Marthaville Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 29, with Rev. Oliver Roberts officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. A. J. Berry of Burkeville, Tex.; three sons, Henry of Natchitoches, C. J. of Robeline, and W. J. of Shreveport; daughters, Mrs. Jane Lauw of Marthaville, Mrs. Reed Brown of Toro, Mrs. Robert Patton of Many; sisters, Mrs. Julia Sikes, and Mrs. Dicie Spears, both of Logansport; 46 grandchildren; 97 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; step daughters, Mrs. Guy Griggs of Burkeville, Tex., and Mrs. Otis Cobbs of Newton, Tex.
