James "Jim" F. Adams, 76, Bloomington, passed away at 2 a.m. Tuesday (March 27, 2012) at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born March 25, 1936 to Karl and Helen Adams. They preceded him in death. He married Marcia Meeker on March 15, 1959. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Jeff (Karol), two daughters, Julie Adams Painter (David) and Lisa Adams and four grandchildren, Laura and Kristen (Jeff) Adams and Daniel and Joe (Julie) Painter.
He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.
