Opal Blackmon Rossetter, 74, of Grants Pass died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1999, at Three Rivers Community Hospital's Washington campus.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home with the Rev. James Downing of Jerome Prairie Bible Church officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

She was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Gause, Texas. She moved to Grants Pass in 1963 from San Antonio, Texas.

She enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by three brothers, M.T. Blackmon, Leroy Blackmon and Mickey Blackmon, all of Palestine, Texas; and her companion, Carl Mortenson of Grants Pass. Her husband, Duncan Rossetter, died in 1985.
