Mr Wall lived in State Center a great many years until three years ago when he moved to Melbourne. He was born October 14, 1853 and was married to Susie Huff December 2, 1875.
A sister, Mrs C F Cutler of Deep River, the mother, Mrs Almira Wall of the soldier's home in Marshalltown and six children, survive. The latter are Mrs E H HIlleman, State Center; Mrs Dorr Allen, Nevada; Mrs B A Carpenter, Eagle Grove; and Mrs Margaret Buck and Frank and Wayland Wall who lived with their father at Melbourne.
The funeral was held Sunday at the Methodist church at Melbourne in charge of Rev George Goodrick and burial was in Hillside.
