Francis Allen Dahlberg, age 80, St. Cloud, MN, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital in Craig, CO. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Salem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Wayne Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Wheatland Cemetery, Wheatland, ND. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Fran was born April 15, 1930 in Minot, ND to Frank and Alphild (Jensen) Dahlberg.
He married Mae Elaine Pearson on October 6, 1956 in Fargo, ND.
Fran was raised on a farm in North Dakota and moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1972. In Minneapolis he was employed as a stockbroker specializing in the commodity markets. Fran was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Dahlberg of St. Cloud, MN; sons and daughters, Stuart (Ivelisse) Dahlberg of the Dominican Republic; David (Lori) Dahlberg of Basking Ridge, NJ; Susan (Gary) DeSha of Alexandria, MN; Heather (David) Dahlberg-Pascua of Craig, CO; brother and sister, Duane (Carol Ann) Dahlberg of Moorhead, MN; Lenore (Ken) Johnson of Alexandria, MN; and four grandchildren, J.C., Hannah, Hailey and Justin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
