Bradley George "Bud" Armstrong was born in Forsyth, a son of Roy and Luella Snyder Armstrong, and grew up there, working in construction with his father.

He joined the US Army in February 1941, prior to the US involvement in WWII and served in the 15th Infantry Regiment. He saw extensive combat in north Africa, Italy, southern France, the Rhineland and central Europe.

Following his discharge in 1945, he returned to work with his father in the Armstrong Construction company. He later worked for "many other" construction firms until the early 1970's, when he joined Long Construction in Colstrip. He was employed at Colstrip until retiring in 1985.

Following his marriage to Ella Hauck in Ely NV, July 3, 1978, the couple made their home at Fallon while he commuted, weekly, to his Colstrip job.

Mr Armstrong passed away at his home in Fallon, April 17, 1988, apparently of a heart attack. He was 74 years of age.

Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Harvey Holzworth of Miles City and William Holzworth of Loveland CO; two step daughters, Lila Bluestone of Houston TX, and Rose Marie "Skip" Cane of Spokane WA; two sisters, Mary Lee of Miles City and Helen Arnieri of Denver CO, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
