Whitey was a friend of my grandparents. He had a Polka Band and used to play at family gatherings, at the resort my Uncle owned. I never really asked how he got the Nickname "Whitey" maybe because he smoked White Owl cigars or because he had White hair. He had this song "The Laughing Polka" that would just crack me up when I was little.
