Born Feb. 24, 1913, in Clearville, she was the daughter of Daniel and Eliza (Conrad) Kinser. She married Eldon Snyder Jan. 11, 1934. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1969. She married Winfreid Ivan Jay March 13, 1973. He preceded her in death March 1, 1992.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Floyd (Ruth) Reighard, Hollidaysburg; Mrs. Harold (June) Yingling, Martinsburg; Jean Smith, Defiance; John Snyder Jr., Honeybrook; and Mrs. Arthur (Dixie) Blades, Riddlesburg. One stepson, Eldon Jay of Everett, R.D., survives. Fifteen grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great- grandchildren survive.
Mrs. Jay was preceded in death by a stepson, Ray Jay, and three brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Tatesville United Methodist Church. She retired in 1976 from Lion Manufacturing, Everett, after 22 years of employment.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m., at the Tatesville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Barb Berg officiating. Interment will be made in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run, R.D. 1. Friends will be received today, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., at the D. Ronald Long Funeral Chapel, Saxton, and Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Tatesville United Methodist Church, R.D. 2, Everett.
