Our everlasting, fadeless beauty, Adelaide Virginia Kesterson, 94, of Parkersburg, passed away August 10, 2022, at her residence.
She was born July 12, 1928, in Randolph, West Virginia, the youngest child of the late Maude Boggs and George Collins.

Adelaide was from Huttonsville, West Virginia, and graduated from Tygarts Valley High School in 1945. She then attended Mountain State Business College, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Adelaide worked at International Harvester and Penn Metal, and soon after, met the love of her life, Robert Raymond Kesterson. She was a housewife and raised two children, and also worked as a teacher's aide at McKinley School. She was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church for over 52 years, where she married Robert on Christmas Eve in 1952. She was a member of Eastern Star for 50 years. We know that she loved the Lord, and is in his will and care.

She is survived by her two children, Tina Ann Kesterson, of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Douglas Alan Kesterson, of Marietta, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and their children.

Adelaide is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert; her parents, Maude and George Collins; and her siblings, Carl, Boggs, Mary, Charlie, Lee, and Harold.

There will be a graveside service held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Sunset Memory Gardens, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, with entombment to follow.
