Emery A. Brower
Funeral services for Emory Arthur Brower, 59, were held Monday morning in the
Page Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John G. Rupp, pastor of the Nazarene Church,
officiated at the services and interment was in Floral Memorial Park.
Mr. Brower a native of Oklahoma, died in Morro Bay where he had been living for the past three months. He suffered a heart attack. He had been a resident of California for the past 38 years. He operated a grocery store on South McCall Avenue for a number of years.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Mrs. Lillie J. Brower of Selma; two sons Edward of Sacramento and Everett of Selma; five daughters, Mrs. Arietta McClard,Mrs. Mary Bethel, Mrs. Beulah Hull and Mrs. Norma Shirey, all of Selma, and Phiyllis Glines of Oklahoma; two brothers Ernest of Wilmington and
Gene of Reno,Nevada; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Miller of Modesto, Mrs. Emma Lee Wells of Imperial and Mrs. Evelyn Butts of Fresno; 24 grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
