Michael Fitzgerald Dead at his home in Geddes
Michael Fitzgerald, for half a century as honored resident of this country, died last evening at 6:30 at his home in Geddes. He had been sick for only a short time and his health was due to the infirmaties of old age. Michael Fitzgerald was born 80 years ago in New York (missing piece) he was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the New York Regiment. He served his country well and was honorably discharged. Besides his widow, Mrs. Fitzgerald, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert Ganssle of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Herman Fitzgerald. THe funeal arrangements have not been completed yet.
