HINSDALE - Maryellen Long of 3833 Virginia St. died Monday (April 23, 2007) at her home.
Born June 22, 1937 in Olean, she was a daughter of James K. and Lillian Tarbox Crawford. On June 30, 1956, in Olean, she married Vincent 'Joe' Long, who survives.
Maryellen was employed at Acme Electric Corp. in Cuba until 1973. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels, Hinsdale American Legion Auxiliary and the YMCA Silver Sneakers.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Jody Seeley of Hinsdale and Brenda (Peter) Waughtel of Rochester; three grandchildren, Joshua Seeley, Jason and Melissa Waughtel; three brothers, Charles (Greta) Crawford of Angelica, Clifford Crawford of Olean and Truman (Susan) Crawford of Frewsburg; three sisters, Emmajean 'Jean' Bender of Portville, Helen Jane Blake of Olean and Barbara Crawford of Dunkirk and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Donald Crawford, Francis Crawford and Kenneth Crawford; and a sister, Marabel Winchell.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
