ZETTA FERN (GARVIN) DULWORTH
Funeral services for Zetta Fern Dulworth, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the First Assembly of God church in Anadarko with Pastor Don Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane cemetery in Anadarko under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dulworth was born January 3, 1930 in Healdton, Ok. to Jessie Leonard and Mattie Lou (Howard) Garvin. She passed from this life on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Ok.
She attended school in Cyril and graduated with the class of 1948. She was a drum majoette in the band. After graduation she married the love of her life, Grady Dulworth, whom she met while working in the TG&Y Store in downtown Anadarko. They were married in Bangor, Maine in 1950. She taught the 4th grade in the Anadark Public School syster and taught Children's church for a number of years. She later retired to take care of her family and home.
She loved God and was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Anadarko. She loved spending time with her beloved family, and also enjoyed music, reading and traveling.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.
Survivors include her husband, Grady, of the home in Anadarko; a son, Daniel Dulworth and his wife, Caroline, of San Diego, Ca.; one daughter, Gayla Stephens of Anadarko; two grandchildren, Joseph Dulworth and his wife, Andrea, of Santa Rosa, Ca.; Samantha Talli of Anadarko; a great-grandaughter, Carly, of Santa Rosa, Ca.; two brothers, Winford Garvin and his wife, Sharon, of Waurika; James Garvin and his wife, Pat; and a sister, Mae Long, all of Chickasha; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
