ROGER MABIE ARENDSEE, 89 SAN ANTONIO - Roger Mabie Arendsee, 89, born in Feb. 3, 1923, in Rockford, Ill., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, from San Antonio. He attended Central High School, and was a member of the first graduating class of West High School. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in World War II. He served 32 years in the Air Force, 26 years as a Chaplain. Survived by wife, Darlin Bailey Arendsee; daughter, Diane Mann; sons, David (Joyce) and Douglas (Peggy); eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, 12672 Silicon Drive, Ste. 105, San Antonio, TX 78249.
