Bert J. Butcher Born In York
GLEN ROCK Bert J. Butcher, 34, of Glen Rock, died Wednesday afternoon at York Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
The service will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in New Freedom Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Butcher was born Aug. 29, 1959, in York. He was the son of Loretta A. (Brown) and Mason E. Butcher Jr.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Rock.
Mr. Butcher also is survived by three brothers, Mason E. Butcher III of Seven Valleys RR 2, Michael E. Butcher of New Bloomfield, and Timothy D. Butcher of Glen Rock; and two sisters, Pamela M. Warner of Spring Grove RR 1, and Mary A. Rehmeyer of Glen Rock RR 1.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Thomas D. Hartley.
