Evadna Mae Davies, 69, passed away December 13, 2006 in Austin, Texas. Evadna was born in Volney, New York on November 4, 1937 to Jeanette and Ira Ives.
Evadna was formerly employed with Leander Independent School District where she developed many long term friendships. She will be remembered for her loving heart and ability to make those around her smile and laugh. She loved to spend time with her family and was extremely proud of all her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leroy Davies. father, Ira Ives and brothers, Ira and Roger Ives.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanette Ives of St. Petersburg, FL and her children, Phyllis and Jim George of Cedar Park; Sherry and Lee Rushing of Houston; Jim and Gail Davies of Gordonsville, VA; Lorrie and John Copeland of Cedar Park and Ed and Dawn Davies of Leander. Fourteen grandchildren, Shannon and Joe Reynolds; Nathan and Eric George; Bryan, Stephen and Kevin Rushing; Ryan and Caleb Davies; Shea, Weslee and Lydia and Alicia Copeland; Kristen and Dan Rainsbarger and Justin and Branden Davies. There are two Great-grandchildren, Hayden Rainsbarger and Emily Evadena Reynolds.
A celebration of her life was held at New Hope First Baptist Church on December 16. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all those who attendd.
