She was born on July 22, 1925, in Monongahela, a daughter of Louise Odelli Gossett and granddaughter of Giovanni and Paolina Campi Odelli.
Mrs. Louttit was a lifelong resident of Monongahela, a graduate of Monongahela High School class of 1943,a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 108.
In her younger years, she worked at Odelli's Confectionary Store located at Third and Main streets in Monongahela, She and her husband Stanley, owned and operated Louttit Transfer and then Tara Trucking, for numerous years in Monongahela,
She also loved to play cards and bowl.
She is survived by her husband Stanley Louttit, with whom she would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on July 16, 2009: one son James and his wife Marsha Louttit, of New Eagle: two granddaughters Tara and her husband Chas Fine, and Ashley Louttit: and one great-granddaughter Megan Fine.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. in Frye Funeral Home Inc. 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m with the Rev. Michael Milinovich officiating. Committal service and interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
