A native of East Lake, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Levy Wilson and Mrs. Bette Ambrose. She lived in Virginia Beach a year.
Surviving are a son, Norman K. Ambrose of Oceana; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Hyman of Norfolk, Mrs. Carol Rose of London Bridge, Mrs. Eleanor Pearl Bland of Suffolk and Mrs. Iva Vivian Bell of Portsmouth; and four brothers, Levy Wilson Ambrose and John Tom Ambrose of Mann's Harbor, N.C., and Lonnie Ambrose and Teko Ambrose of East Lake.
The body was taken to Maestas Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Pentecostal Church of Christ by the Rev. Elwood A. Kern. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m.
