PORTLAND - Gary Eugene Creamer, 59, died Feb. 13 at his residence following a long illness. He was born in Damariscotta, a son of Paul and Esther Winchenbach Creamer, and attended schools in Damariscotta and Waldoboro. He served with the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Creamer was employed for 23 years with teh City of Portland Public Works Department. He enjoyed working on the restoration of his home. He is survived by three sons, Jason Yankowsky, Gary Creamer Jr., and Frank Creamer, all of Portland; a stepson, Robert Yankowsky of Portland; five sisters, Lorraine Butts of Scarborough, Joan Marshal of Augusta, Loretta Sossbee of Gorham, Esther Brewer of Bath, and Donnna Creamer of Raymond; and three brothers, Paul Creamer of South Portland, Richard Creamer of Wiscasset and Bruce Creamer of Edgecomb. Funeral services will be private. A spring graveside service will be held at Balckpoint Cemetery in Scarborough. Arrangements are by Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home in Portland.
