ELLSWORTH — Ben F. Doubrava, 57, Ellsworth, died Wednesday at his home of a sudden illness. He was born May 5, 1917, in Ellsworth County, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Doubrava, a retired farmer, operated the Town and Country clothing store in Ellsworth. He is survived by his widow, Vi, of the home; 2 sons, Craig, Wichita and Darren, of the home; a brother, Ralph, Ellsworth, and a sister Mrs. Viola Harts, Fort Scott. The funeral will be at 3 pm Saturday at the Grubb funeral home, Ellsworth, the Rev. Donald Ray officiating. Burial will be in the Ellsworth Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Heart Fund.
