Joe Roke, and old time resident of the Sweet Grass Hills country, was buried Monday afternoon in the cemetery at Chester. A number of persons from this vicinity attended the funeral services being held at the grave.
The deceased, who was 68 years old, "punched" cattle for a number of outfits in Montana many years ago. He had lived near East Butte since 1898. He was married and leaves two children.
