Patricia Ann Calmes, 62

Patricia Ann Calmes, age 62, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Irvine, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Goble and Hallie Isaacs Goosey. A resident of Henderson County for 23 years, she was a devoted homemaker who also had been employed by Carhartt, Inc. in Irvine for many years. She attended Brevard, NC Church of Christ.

Mrs. Calmes is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dale Calmes, formerly of Lee County, Kentucky; a daughter, Tammy Lynn Capps, and a grandson, VJ Capps, both of Saluda, North Carolina; a stepson, Robert Anthony Calmes and his wife Tamela of Versailles, Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Keitha Calmes of Richmond; three sisters, Mary Hoover and her husband Herbert, Alvenia Hoover and her husband David, and Carol Bailey and her husband Joel; two brothers, Leon Goosey and Walter Goosey and his wife Lois, all of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 23rd in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Dr. Al Bergeron and Ron Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22nd at the funeral home.
