William H. Lucas, age 90 years of Corunna, died Tuesday at CEE Hospital, Petrolia.

Born and raised at Camlachie, he farmed for many years at the Red Church area of London Road and at Concession 6, Moore Township, retiring to Hill Street in Corunna in 1950. He was a resident of Twilight Haven, Petrolia.

He was predeceased by two wives, the former Sarah Strangway and Violet Strangway (cousins), a daughter, son, sister and two brothers.

Surviving are four sons, Lorne of Sarnia, Carl of Corunna, Walter and Stanley of Moore township: a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Doris) Newkirk of California: two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Pearl) Martin of Sarnia, Mrs. Leon (Nellie) Lutts of Flordia: a brother Stanley of Vancouver, B.C., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. from Steadman Brothers Memorial Chapel Brigden with interment in Union Cemetery Mooretown, Ont.
