She was born in Woodhaven, L.I., daughter of the late Alvin and Eva Schmidt Warnke. She lived in Long Branch 42 years and had been in failing health for about five years. She was a member of the North Long Branch Community Club auxiliary.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. George W. Ryser, Little Silver, and Mrs. Thomas Foster, Rumson; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Warnke, Lynbrook, L.I., and Harry Warnke, East Meadow, L.I., and a sister, Mrs. Frederick Lyon, West Hempstead, L.I.
Services were held Saturday at the John W. flock funeral home with Rev. William I. Roberts, pastor of Asbury Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.
